Broken Key Loop
One of my MK5 keyfobs is broken off the small key ring loop at the top of the loop where it joins the keyfob. Apparently it's made out of extremely soft plastic or metal. I've made a hole, then wet-sanded the surface to make it stronger. However, I'm sure that's not helping.
I've also attempted to wrap the broken the ring using clear tape, but it didn't look to be any better. It's a shame because I rely on the small split rings to keep my keys in place.
